楽天グループの冠協賛デー「SUPER SUMMER SERIES」の一環として、ヴィッセル神戸の「Rakuten SUPER MATCH」、楽天イーグルスの「楽天スーパーナイター」と並んで開催された台湾の野球チーム、楽天モンキーズの公式試合「Rakuten SUPER GAME」。海を越え、「スポーツとともに、もっといい未来へ。」の理念が広く発信されていく。

「Rakuten SUPER GAME」は台北近郊の都市、桃園にある楽天モンキーズの本拠地・楽天桃園棒球場で7月5日に開催された。昨年までの名称は「台灣樂天集團日 Rakuten Group Day」だったが、今年はヴィッセル神戸の「Rakuten SUPER MATCH」、楽天イーグルスの「楽天スーパーナイター」と足並みを揃えて“スーパー”にアップデートされたかたちに。3つあわせて「SUPER SUMMER SERIES」と銘打たれている。

しかし、楽天モンキーズと楽天イーグルスは同じ野球とは言え所属リーグも国も違う。ヴィッセル神戸はスポーツカテゴリ自体が違う。それでも、いや、だからこそ「SUPER SUMMER SERIES」として開催されたことで、楽天グループの理念「スポーツとともに、もっといい未来へ。」が、シリーズを構成する3イベントに通底していることが際立って見えた。もっといい未来とは、どんな未来？すぐに答えの見つからない問いであっても、それを考えはじめるきっかけにはきっとなる。

syncSPORTSで何度となく取材させてもらっている楽天ガールズも登場。

台湾楽天市場のブースでは、市場店舗の食品の無料サンプリングが行われた。

台湾楽天市場のほか、Rakuten Global Express、楽天カード、楽天銀行、楽天インサイト、Rakuten Kobo、楽天トラベル、そして楽天メディカルと多数のブースが並んだ。

QRコードから各事業部のSNSにアクセスしてフォローすると、楽天モンキーズの選手や楽天ガールズのチアたちの特製カードがもらえた。
